December 1, 2011 Advanced Early Admission for University of Manitoba
To receive the earliest admission decision possible to University 1, Engineering or Music, current Canadian high school students may apply for Advanced Early Admission based on their Manitoba Grade 11 marks or provincial equivalents.

To qualify for this admission, you must:

Apply for admission by December 1, 2011
Forward an official high school mark statement of all subjects and marks for Grade 11 by December 10, 2011
Meet the following admissions requirements:

ADMISSION to UNIVERSITY 1 or MUSIC

Five full credits at the Grade 11 level, in courses designated S (Specialized), G (General), or U (Dual Credit –University), with a minimum of three of these credits in S or U courses, and
One credit of Grade 11 S or U English with a min. grade of 80%, and
A minimum average of 80% over three Grade 11 S or U credits

Note: Students applying to Music must also complete a separate Music application, theory assessment, and audition.

ADMISSION to ENGINEERING

Present an average of 85% over Chemistry 30S, Pre-Calculus Math 30S & Physics 30S or equivalent courses with a minimum of 60% in each course.

Note: there is no advanced Early Admission for Dental Hygiene or Kinesiology & Rec.

These applicants will be admitted based upon final grade 11 transcripts.

December 1, 2011 Advanced Early Admission for Brandon University
Current Canadian high school students who have a minimum standing of 75% in specific Grade 11 subjects, with no grade lower than 70%, and who are applying for a degree program in Arts, Science, Physical Education, Music or Pre-Nursing are eligible. Students intending to enter Music, Psychiatric Nursing or First Nations & Aboriginal Counselling must also satisfy the admission requirements for their selected program. All applicants must forward an official high school mark statement of all subjects and marks for Grade 11 by December 10.

Criteria:

• Applicants have completed Grade 11 and are currently enrolled in Grade 12 courses leading to graduation in June.

• Applicants must submit an Application for Admission by December 1 and an official high school transcript with final Grade 11 grades by December 10.

• Applicants will meet Regular Status Admission requirements by June 30.

• Grade 11 average is a minimum of 75% based on five full courses, including English (30S) and Mathematics (Pre-Calculus Math 30 or Applied Math 30, but not Consumer Math 30S) plus the best three from the list of approved Grade 11 courses.

February 24, 2012 University of Manitoba Early Admission deadline
Canadian high school students, who are currently registered in their Grade 12 year, may apply to be considered for admission to University 1, Engineering, Fine Arts, Music, General Studies, or the School of Agriculture on the basis of their interim Grade 12 standings. To qualify for admission, you must:

Apply for admission by February 24, 2012 for any Direct Entry program except Music (January 15, 2012 deadline for Music).
Present an official interim mark statement by April 15, 2012 that indicates that you should qualify for high school graduation and meet all the entrance requirements for your chosen program by June 30, 2012. If you are a high school student in Manitoba or NW Ontario the University will receive your record directly from your schools; if you are a student from another part of Canada, you must request your school send a transcript to the Admissions Office.
An Early Admission is conditional upon receipt of your final high school record by July 9, 2012 showing that your final marks meet all the entrance requirements for your chosen program. If you are a student in Manitoba or NW Ontario these records will be automatically sent on your behalf by your school, otherwise you must make your own arrangements for the records to be sent.

March 1, 2012 Brandon University Early Admission deadline
Canadian high school students who are currently registered in their Grade 12 year may apply to be considered for admission to a degree program in Arts, Science, Physical Education, Music or Pre-Nursing on the basis of their interim Grade 12 standing. Applicants must forward an official interim mark statement by March 15. Note that students admitted under this policy intending to enter Music, Psychiatric Nursing or First Nations & Aboriginal Counselling must also satisfy the admission requirements for their selected program.

March 1, 2012 University of Winnipeg Early Application deadline
For high school students applying to Arts and Science. Applications received by this date will be given consideration for Early Admission and Special Entrance scholarships on the basis of interim (March/April) grades.

March 1, 2012 University of Winnipeg Entrance Scholarship Application deadline
Requires completion of an Entrance Scholarship application form.
